When creating a requisition, you can add information that doesn't fit or you don't want in the description. This is done using the Message Before and Message After fields in the requisition items form. These fields allow for free form editing or selecting from pre-setup messages. The fields allow for a large amount of data and the information will print on the purchase order.
Using the Message After field to enter a parts number.
Creating an item with a 0 quantity and using the lookup in the Message After to select an existing message.
The printed purchase order shows this information.
Using the Message Before fields prints the message above the line item.
